RESOLUTION NO. 2015-966
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF NOE
SIBRIAN TO REZONE 0 .32 ACRES FROM "C-2",
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO NNC-2, C-Z"
CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ESTABLISHING AN AUTO REPAIR BUSINESS,
LOCATED AT 2006 DUBUQUE ROAD, AS JANUARY 11,
2016, AT 5 :30 P.M. IN HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the llthdayof January,
2016, for the purpose of considering and acting upon an
application of Noe Sibrian to rezone 0 . 32 acres from "C-2",
Commercial District to "C-2, C-Z" Conditional Zoning District for
the purpose of establishing an auto repair business, located at
2006 Dubuque Road, and legally described as follows :
That part of Block 5 in "Cowin' s 2nd Addition to Waterloo,
Iowa", bounded as follows :
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Block; thence
East along the South line of said Block a distance of 215. 7
feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of a curve, whose
radius is 726. 6 feet and whose chord is 245 . 8 feet and forms
an angle of 28° 39 ' 91/2" with the South line of said Block,
to a point on the West line of said Block that is 117 . 7 feet
North of the Southwest corner of said Block; thence South to
the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
