RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF BENJAMIN AND LINDSEY EVANS FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "R-3, R-P" PLANNED MULTIPLE
RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CHANGING THE DESIGNATED USE OF LOT C-1
THROUGH C-3 AND C-5 THROUGH C-6 OF SOUTHLAND
PARK THIRD ADDITION FROM COMMERCIAL TO
RESIDENTIAL TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AND/OR DUPLEXES, LOCATED
EAST OF 2950 SOUTHLAND DRIVE, AS JANUARY 11,
2016, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the, Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 11th day 'of January, 2016,
for the purpose of considering the request of Benjamin and
Lindsey Evans for a site plan amendment to the "R-3, R-P" Planned
Multiple Residence District for the purpose of changing the
designated use of Lot C-1 through C-3 and C-5 through C-6 of
Southland Park Third Addition from commercial to residential to
allow for the construction of single family homes and/or duplexes,
located east of 2950 Southland Drive, and legally described as
follows :
Southland Park Third Addition lots C-1,. C-2, C-3, C-5,
C-6, all in the city of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
