AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 TRAFFIC CODE OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (32) FIRST STREET AND
(71) MULLAN AVENUE (WEST), OF SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND BY
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (32)
FIRST STREET AND (71) MULLAN AVENUE (WEST), OF
SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN
AREAS; AND
BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (3) FIRST STREET (E AND
W) AND (8) MULLAN AVENUE (EAST AND WEST), OF
SECTION 542, ONE-WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS; AND BY
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (3) FIRST
STREET (EAST AND WEST) AND (8) MULLAN AVENUE (EAST
AND WEST), OF SECTION 542, ONE-WAY STREETS AND
ALLEYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsections (32) First Street and (71) Mullan
Avenue (West) of Section 541, Increasing speed limits in
Certain Areas, of the 1988 Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby repealed in their entirety; that
new Subsections (32) First Street and (71) Mullan Avenue
(West) of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain
the 1988 Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo,
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
Areas, of
Iowa, are
(32) First Street - from Locust Street to Washington
Street 25 mph
(71) Mullan Avenue (West) - from Locust Street to
Washington Street 25 mph
That Subsections (3) First Street (E and W) and (8)
Mullan Avenue (East and West), of Section 542, One -Way
Streets and Alleys, of the 1988 Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby repealed in their entirety; that
new Subsections (3) First Street (East and West) and (8)
Mullan Avenue (East and West), of Section 542, One -Way
Streets and Alleys, of the 1988 Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows:
(3) First Street
(East and West)
(8) Mullan Avenue
(East and West)
Southwest to the northeast
from Washington Street to
Franklin Street
Northeast to the southwest
from its intersection with
Almond Street and Logan Avenue
to Washington Street

Waterloo, Iowa, on this 18th day of June, 1990, and
