RESOLUTION NO. 2019-622
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 5, 2019 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 9, 2019, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH FY 2020 CARDINAL DRIVE, DONALD
STREET, LINBUD LANE AND MARTIN ROAD DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 988, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Cardinal Drive, Donald Street, Linbud Lane and Martin Road
Drainage Improvements, Contract No. 988, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2020 Cardinal Drive, Donald
Street, Linbud Lane and Martin Road Drainage Improvements, Contract No. 988, be scheduled
for September 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of September
2019, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with FY 2020 Cardinal Drive, Donald Street,
Linbud Lane and Martin Road Drainage Improvements, Contract No. 988.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
