NRESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO EXECUTIVE

o s ¢ WATERLOO DAYS EVENT FROM MAY 28-31, 2009 .

WHEREAS, the Executive Director of My Waterloo Days has made
A4Titten application to the City Council asking that they be
? rxthorized and permitted to hold My Waterloo Days event on May
c2 31, 2009, and
WHEREAS, said activities will be held at the Expo Plaza and
i lcoln Park, including People In The Park from May 28-29, 2009,
'V'eworks on May 29, 2009, and Parade and 5K Run on May 30, 2009,
including street closures and barricade needs .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IrTERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to the
=E cutive Director of My Waterloo Days to hold My Waterloo Days
event from May 28-31, 2009, with said activities to be held at
the Expo Plaza and Lincoln Park, including People In The Park
from May 28-29, 2009, Fireworks on May 29, 2009, and Parade and
5K Run on May 30, 2009, including street closures and barricade
needs .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 2009 .
