N N N RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GATES PARK
Ftri OPTIMIST CLUB FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
O o ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, Gates Park Optimist Club is requesting a variance
tla the Noise Ordinance on June 6, 2009 from 12 : 00 noon to 2 : 00
p rrt in conjunction with their annual picnic at the Gates Park
Swimming Pool Shelter, including a band, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Gates Park Optimist Club has made formal
application for a variance on June 6, 2009 from 12 : 00 noon to
200 p.m.

n NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Gates Park Optimist Club
for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance, on
June 6, 2009 from 12 : 00 noon to 2 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with
their annual picnic at the Gates Park Swimming Pool Shelter,
including a band, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 2009 .
