AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE PUBLIC EASEMENT FROM THE
NORTHERLY LINE OF MITCHELL AVENUE TO APPROXIMATELY 430
FEET NORTH, ALL IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following described public easement:
The Southwesterly two (2) rods in even width of that part of
the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 89, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the Northeast 1/4
of Section 36, which is 8.641 chains West of the Southeast
corner of the Northeast 1/4 of said section, thence north
6.48 chains, thence west 4.223 chains to the Northeasterly
line of the Iowa Northern Railroad, thence southeasterly
along the Northeasterly line of said right-of-way 6.84
chains to the South line of the Northeast 1/4 of said
section, thence east along the South line of the Northeast
1/4 of said section 1.789 chains to the point of beginning,
excepting the South two (2) rods as measured perpendicular
to the South line of the Northeast 1/4 of said section, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
