AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF BIRMINGHAM AVENUE
LOCATED 430 FEET NORTH OF MITCHELL AVENUE, ALL IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following portion of Birmingham Avenue:
The part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 36, Township 89, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, lying within the following
described boundaries:
Commencing at a point 8.641 chains West of the Southeast
corner of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 89
North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M.; thence north 6.48
chains, thence west 4.223 chains to the Northeasterly lie of
the right-of-way of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific
Railway Company, which shall be the point of beginning;
thence northwesterly along said Northeasterly right-of-way
line to the intersection of the Westerly extension of the
North lot line of Lot 11, Block 106, in Riverview Addition
of the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; thence
east along said extension to the Northwesterly corner of
said Lot 11, thence southeasterly along the Southwesterly
lot line of Lots 11, 12 and 13 and/or the extension thereof
to a point due East of the point of beginning, thence west
to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
