AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 259 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 258,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred
Fifty-nine (259).
"259.
A part of the South Eighty (80) acres of the West One
Hundred (100) acres of the Northwest Quarter of Section
Eleven (11), Township Eighty-nine (89) North, Range Thirteen
(13) West of the Fifth (5th) Principal Meridian, in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest
Quarter; thence South 0°00'00" East for Five Hundred,
Twenty -Three and Four Tenths (523.40) feet along the West
line of said Northwest Quarter to the Point of Beginning;
thence North 89°35'24" East for Fifty (50.0) feet to the
East line of Burton Avenue; thence continuing North
89°35'24" East for One -Thousand, One -hundred, Seventeen and
Twenty Hundredths (1,117.20) feet along the South Line of
Gronberg Addition; thence South 00°00'59" East for
One -Thousand, Two Hundred, Six and Twenty Hundredths
(1,206.20) feet; thence South 89°36'05" West for
Two -Hundred, Ninety -One (291) feet to the Southwesterly line
of the Legal description in Waterloo City Ordinance No.
3135; thence North 0°00'00" West for Four -Hundred, Eight
(408) feet, along said Southwesterly line; thence North
89°48'12" West tor Two -Hundred, Eighty -One and Sixteen
Hundredths (281.16) feet; thence North 0°00'00" West for
Five -Hundred, Thirty (530) feet; thence South 89°36'05" West
for Five -Hundred, Ninety -Five (595) feet to said West Line
of Northwest Quarter; thence North 0°00'00" West along said
West Line for Two -Hundred, Sixty -Five (265) feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "M -2,P" Planned
Industrial District to "M-1" Light Industrial District, as above
described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be,
directed to file a certified copy of this
