AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 TRAFFIC CODE BY:
ADDING SUBSECTIONS (88a) FOURTH ST. (W) AND
RIDGEWAY AVE. AND (113a) KIMBALL AVE. AND PARK
LANE TO SECTION 540, OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIAL
TRAFFIC -CONTROL DEVICES; AND
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (69) LELAND AVENUE OF
SECTION 543, THRU STREETS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (69) LELAND AVENUE TO
SECTION 543, THRU STREETS; AND
BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (1) ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND
MARTIN ROAD, (2) ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND WEST FOURTH
STREET, (3) ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND WEST RIDGEWAY
AVENUE, (10) FOURTH STREET (WEST) AND WEST
RIDGEWAY AVENUE, AND (17a) KIMBALL AVENUE AND PARK
LANE OF SECTION 544, ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsections (88a) Fourth St. (W) and Ridgeway Ave.
and (113a) Kimball Ave. and Park Lane of Section 540,
Obedience to Official Traffic -Control Devices, of the 1988
Traffic Code, are hereby added as follows:
(88a) Fourth St. (W) and Ridgeway Ave. --Full Actuated
(113a) Kimball Ave. and Park Lane --Full Actuated
That Subsection (69) Leland Avenue of Section 543, Thru
Streets, of the 1988 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection (69) Leland Avenue of
Section 543, Thru Streets, of the 1988 Traffic Code, is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(69) Leland Avenue West Mullan Avenue to Oaklawn
Avenue
That Subsections (1) Ansborough Avenue and Martin Road,
(2) Ansborough Avenue and West fourth Street, (3) Ansborough
Avenue and West Ridgeway Avenue, (10) Fourth Street (West)
and West Ridgeway Avenue, and (17a) Kimball Avenue and Park
Lane of Section 544, All -Way Stop Intersections, of the 1988
Traffic Code, are hereby repealed in their entirety.
