AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (44) AND (45), BOTH
HUNTINGTON ROAD, OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (44), (45) AND (45a) ALL
HUNTINGTON ROAD OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsections (44) and (45), both Huntington Road,
of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of
the 1988 Traffic Code, are hereby repealed in their
entirety; that new Subsections (44), (45) and (45a), all
Huntington Road, of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in
Certain Areas, of the 1988 Traffic Code, are hereby enacted
in lieu thereof as follows:
(44) Huntington Road - from Black Hawk Road to Scott
Street 25 mph
(45) Huntington Road - from Scott Street to Katoski
Drive 30 mph
(45a) Huntington Road - from
corporate limits
