AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 261 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 260,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred
Sixty-one (261).
"261.
Unplatted Waterloo East, Part of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 30, Township 89 Range 12 and Part of the Northeast
1/4 of Section 31, Township 89 Range 12, commencing at a
point on the southeasterly line of Lafayette Street that is
400' northwesterly of the intersection of southwesterly line
with the northerly line of the right-of-way of the Chicago
Central & Pacific Railroad thence northwesterly along
southwesterly line of Lafayette Street 425' thence
southwesterly at right angles 170' thence southeasterly to a
point on a line drawn at right angles to the southwesterly
line of Lafayette Street through the point of beginning that
is 170' southwesterly of the southwesterly line of Lafayette
Street, thence northeasterly to the point of beginning, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District be and the same is hereby zoned
as "M-1" Light Industrial District, as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
