AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ANIMALS AND FOWL,
OF THE 1988 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, BY ADDING SUBSECTION (3) TO
SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 7-2, SWINE NOT TO BE
KEPT WITHIN THE CITY; EXCEPTIONS; SUBJECT TO
NUISANCE LAWS; AND BY ADDING SUBSECTION (5) TO
SUBSECTION (b) OF SECTION 7-15, KEEPING OF
DANGEROUS ANIMALS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (3) is hereby added to Subsection (a)
of Section 7-2, Swine not to be kept within the city;
exceptions; subject to nuisance laws, of Chapter 7, Animals
and Fowl, of the 1988 Code of Ordinances of the city of
Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:
(3) Nothing herein contained shall prevent the keeping
of pigs which are housed at the Sunrise Exchange
Club Petting Zoo.
That Subsection (5) is hereby added to Subsection (b)
of Section 7-15, Keeping of dangerous animals prohibited, of
Chapter 7, Animals and Fowl, of the 1988 Code of Ordinances
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:
(5) The keeping of dangerous animals at the Sunrise
Exchange Club Petting Zoo.
