The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Organizational Meeting at Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, January 4, 2016. Mayor
Ernest. G. Clark in the Chair. Roll Call:- Jacobs, Jones, Schmitt, Lind,.. Morrissey,
Welper, and Amos.
City Clerk, Suzy Schares, administered the Oath of Office to Mayor -Elect Quentin Hart.
Invocation by Michael E. Coleman of Antioch Baptist Church.

that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Organizational Meeting on Monday, January
4, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., be accepted and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to newly elected 2nd Ward Councilmember Bruce
Jacobs.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to newly elected 4th Ward Councilmember Jerome
Amos, Jr.
Mayor Hart administered the Oath of Office to re-elected At -Large Councilmember Steve
Schmitt.
