AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION (101) WASHINGTON STREET OF
SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN
AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION
(101) WASHINGTON STREET OF SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (101) Washington Street of Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic
Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in.
its entirety; that new Subsection (101) Washington Street of
Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of
the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(101) Washington Street/Highway 218
from Mitchell Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue 35 mph
Washington Street/Highway 218 (northbound)
from Hawthorne Avenue to W. 10th Street 35 mph
Washington Street (northbound service road)
from W. 10th Street to W. Park Avenue 35 mph
from W. Park Avenue to W. 2nd Street 25 mph
Washington Street (southbound service road)
from Mullan Avenue to W. 9th Street 35 mph
Washington Street/Highway 218 (southbound)
from W. 9th Street to Hawthorne Avenue 35 mph
