AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 32 TO SECTION 2A -7N,
CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2A -7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 31, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Thirty-two (32).
"32.
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 7, Township 88 North, Range 13 West of the Fifth
P.M., City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, bounded as
follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the said Northeast
Quarter; thence South 256.5 feet along the West line of said
Northeast Quarter; thence South 53°48'45" East 370.7 feet to
a point which is 300 feet east of the West line of said
Northeast Quarter and 260 feet South of the South right of
way of Iowa State Highway No. 412; thence North 79°48'30"
East 528.97 feet to the point of beginning; thence South
11°13'29" East 327.36 feet; thence North 78°47'45" East
215.53 feet; thence along a 1,112.83 ft. radius curve,
concave Southeasterly, for 595.82 feet; thence North
22°04'52" West 287.50 feet to the South right of way of
primary Highway No. U.S. 20; thence North 69°48'00" West
300.00 feet along the South right of way line; thence North
81°23'00" West 269.60 feet along said South right of way
line; thence South 79°48'30" West 426.56 feet to the point
of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "C-2"
Commercial District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C -Z"
Conditional Zoning District as above described," subject to the
following conditions:
1. City approved, dust -free surfacing is to be used for
the storage site and the private roadway into the site,
and
2. Vehicles are to be parked no closer than 800 feet to
the Timberline Condominiums property, and
3. Hours of operations are to be from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m., Monday through Saturday, and
4. All evidence of the use of the storage site would be
removed after December 31, 1993.
Section 2. That the Deputy City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
