AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 264 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 263,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred
Sixty-four (264).
"264.
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of Lot
5, Auditor's Consolidated Plat with the Northerly line of
the Cedar River, thence Northerly along the Easterly line of
said Lot 5 and an extension thereof to the Northerly line of
the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad, thence Easterly
along said railroad right-of-way line to its intersection
with the Southerly line of Sycamore Street, thence
Southeasterly along the Southerly line of Sycamore Street to
the Westerly line of Vinton Street, thence Southwesterly
along the Westerly line of Vinton Street to its intersection
with the Cedar River thence Northwesterly along the
Northerly line of Cedar River to the point of beginning, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "M-2" Heavy
Industrial District and "U -i" Unclassified District to "M-1"
Light Industrial District, as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
