ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3644 BY CHANGING
THE CONDITIONAL ZONING PERMITTED USE FROM
YOUTH -ORIENTED VIDEO ARCADE TO A BARBER SHOP AND
BEAUTY SHOP IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3644, adopted by the
City Council of Waterloo, Iowa, on May 8, 1989, be amended
by changing the permitted use from youth -oriented video
arcade to a barber shop and beauty shop in the "C -Z"
Conditional Zoning District, be and the same is hereby
approved for the following legally described property:
Lot 7, Block 2, Hammond and Hopkins Addition, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, subject
to the following conditions:
1. A hard -surfaced parking lot providing four (4)
spaces be constructed by June 1, 1992.
2. Said parking lot be completely screened by a 6
foot high fence from residential properties to the
west.
3. Any lighting for said parking lot be directed away
from surrounding residential properties.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County.
