ORDINANCE NO. 3838
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION (101) WASHINGTON STREET OF SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (101)
WASHINGTON STREET OF SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
That Subsection (101) Washington Street of Section 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1988 Traffic
Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection (101) Washington Street of
Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
1988 Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(101) Washington Street/Highway 218 -
from Mitchell Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue 35 mph
Washington Street/Highway 218 (Northbound) -
from Hawthorne Avenue to Sergeant Road/Highway 63 35 mph
Washington Street (northbound service road) -
from W. Tenth Street to W. Park Avenue
from W. Park Avenue to W. Second Street
from W. Mullan Avenue to Sergeant Road/Highway 63 35 mph
Washington Street (southbound service road) -
from Sergeant Road/Highway 63 to W. Ninth Street 35 mph
Washington Street/Highway 218 (southbound) -
from W. Ninth Street to Hawthorne Avenue 35 mph
