°J S- c E IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
N t <after public hearing on May 26 , 2009, notice having been
grr as required by law, it is deemed necessary and advisable
t4a 'the sidewalks and/or portions of sidewalks for an area known
as Zone 9, be improved by repairing the same .

The repair of said improvement will be the responsibility of
te "bwner of property abutting the sidewalk so designated by the
CItr Engineer as needing repair.
Said work shall be completed by the owner of the property
a 4.tting said improvement by July 10, 2009, or with evidence of a
c:§ ract to have the work completed by a bonded contractor,
together with a 25o down payment . The City of Waterloo will
contract any work not completed by the property owner, and an
accurate itemized account of all the costs and expenses thereof
shall be made to this Council upon completion of said work. The
cost and expense to the City of Waterloo for making said
improvement will be assessed, as provided by law, as a special
tax against all property abutting sidewalks and/or portions
thereof so improved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 2009 .
