c WHEREAS, Jim Day is requesting to hold Juneteenth event on
e 20, 2009, including closing Adams Street from East 4th
N Otceet to Linn Street and additional signage and extra attention
ru �the Police Department, and a variance to the Noise Ordinance
m 9 : 00 a.m. to 9 : 00 p .m. , and
-- WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No . 3094 , and

W= WHEREAS, said Jim Day has made formal application for a
4iance on June 20, 2009 from 9 : 00 a.m. to 9 : 00 p.m.

rris NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jim Day to hold Juneteenth
event on June 20, 2009, including closing Adams Street from East
4th Street to Linn Street and additional signage and extra
attention by the Police Department, and a variance to the Noise
Ordinance from 9 : 00 a.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. , be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 2009 .
