" WHEREAS, Gates Park Optimist Club is requesting a variance
g the Noise Ordinance on June 20, 2009 from 11 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00
in conjunction with their annual picnic at the Gates Park
SAtilling Pool Shelter, including a band, and

- " WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Gates Park Optimist Club has made formal

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Gates Park Optimist Club
for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance, on
June 20, 2009 from 11 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with
t1ir annual picnic at the Gates Park Swimming Pool Shelter,
including a band, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 2009 .
