RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
CONTEMPORARY URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO REZONE FROM
"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
TO "C-P" PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
APPROXIMATELY 0 . 66 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED
NORTH OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF IDAHO STREET
AND MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE, AS JULY 20,
2009, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 20th day of July, 2009, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Contemporary Urban Development to rezone from "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District to "C-P" Planned Commercial District
approximately 0 . 66 acres generally located north of the northeast
corner of Idaho Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and
legally described as follows :

A survey of that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/) ,
Section 19, Township 89 North (T89N) , Range 12 West
(R12W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian (5th P.M. ) , in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa,
more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northeast
Quarter (NE 1I) ; thence N89°50' 22"E 16 . 5 feet along the
South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1A) , to the
intersection with the North line of Willow Street right
of way, and the East line of Idaho Street, and the
point of beginning; thence continuing N89°50' 22"E

Courier.
