OHO WHEREAS, the Black Hawk County 4-H Shooting Sports Group is
prog04ing to fire air rifles on July 30, 2009 as part of a
demorjtration for the 4-H Shooting Sports program in conjunction
with. Ltte Black Hawk County 4-H & FFA Fair being held at the

t WHEREAS, said operations would be in violation of Section 5-
2-6B __ of =the Waterloo Code of Ordinances, Discharging and
Possessing Air Rifles and Similar Devices; Exceptions, and
WHEREAS, the Black Hawk County 4-H Shooting Sports Group has
made formal application for a variance to Section 5-2-6B of the
Waterloo Code of Ordinances, Discharging and Possessing Air
Rifles and Similar Devices; Exceptions .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Black Hawk County 4-H
Shooting Sports Group for a variance to Section 5-2-6B of the
Waterloo Code of Ordinances, Discharging and Possessing Air
Rifles and Similar Devices, Exception, to fire air rifles on
July 30, 2009 as part of a demonstration for the 4-H Shooting
Sports program in conjunction with the Black Hawk County 4-H &
FFA Fair being held at the Cattle Congress Grounds, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 2009 .
