`HEARING.
c WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in .the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Wat7erloa,; Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 10th day of August, 2009, for
the` purpdse of considering and acting upon an application of John
Rice to rezone from "C-1" Commercial District to "C-2" Commercial
btIstrict- with Conditions approximately 1 . 04 acres generally
pcateq at<: 2260 Independence Avenue at the southeast corner of
Independence Avenue and Bishop Avenue and legally described as
follows :
Roth Park Camp Part of Lots 14 , 15, 16, and 17,
described as follows; Beginning at the Northeast Corner
of Lot 17, thence South along the East line of Roth
Park Camp 175 feet, thence West, parallel with the
North line of Lot 14 a distance of 82 feet; thence
North, parallel with the West line of Lots 14 and 15 to
the North line of Lot 15 ; thence Northwesterly to the
Northwest Corner of Lot 17 ; thence East to the Point of
Beginning, and Lot 18 , 19, 20, 21 and 17 foot right of
way as platted South of and adjacent to Lot 20, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
