O MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE IOWA
NORTHLAND REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS

¢ � DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council desires to make an
application to the Iowa Department of Economic Development for
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Supplemental Funds for
Infrastructure Disaster Recovery, specifically the design and
construction of Storm Water Lift Stations - Residential, and
—WIREAS, one of the provisions of the CDBG Grant calls for
proven ability to deal with the administration of the CDBG rules
and regulations, and
WHEREAS, INRCOG has the personnel and experience with the
CDBG Grant Programs .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor be authorized to sign a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Iowa Northland Regional
Council of Governments for the administration of the Community
Development Block Grant contract subject to the City of Waterloo
receiving a grant award.
