DAY EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2009 .

H WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo, Waterloo Community Schools
and the City of Waterloo have requested that they be allowed to
a :hold the Mayor' s Fitness Day event on September 17, 2009, and

WHEREAS, said event will be held from 9 : 30 a.m. to 12 : 00
`p.m. at Lincoln Park, with a 1-mile fun run to begin and end at
:1Lincoln Park, including closing 4th Street from Franklin Street
to Mulberry Street, Park Avenue from Franklin Street to Mulberry
biSstreet and the parking lane only on Mulberry Street between 4th
TctT-eet and Park Avenue on the Lincoln Park side .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
-WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo,
Waterloo Community Schools and the City of Waterloo to hold the
`MIayor' s Fitness Day event on September 17, 2009 from 9 : 30 a.m. to
x.2 : 00 p.m. at Lincoln Park, with a 1-mile fun run to begin and
end at Lincoln Park, including closing 4th Street from Franklin
