C tri RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF HEAL THE
1-11 FAMILY, INC. , FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE

c ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .

WHEREAS, Heal The Family, Inc . is requesting a variance to
c the'3\Toise Ordinance on August 22 , 2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00
p.m` in conjunction with Take Back The Community Event to be held
° at Sullivan Park, including a PA system and a DJ, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No . 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Heal The Family, Inc . has made formal
application for a variance on August 22 , 2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to
4 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Heal The Family, Inc . for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance, on August 22 ,
2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with Take Back
The Community Event to be held at Sullivan Park, including a PA
system and a DJ, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August, 2009 .
