RESOLUTION NO. 2009-901
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC. , FOR GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND
DEMOLITION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 166-D-GO-10-
05-09 (HOUSES: 302-304 FOWLER STREET, 404
FOWLER STREET, 116 PEEK STREET, 232 LELAND
AVENUE, 1203 BEECH STREET, AND 728, 731 AND
745 VINTON STREET; GARAGE: 1203 BEECH STREET) .
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the
Contracts and Grants Coordinator, to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate of
cost, etc . , for General Obligation Bond Demolition Project,
Contract No. 166-D-GO-10-05-09 (Houses : 302-304 Fowler Street,
404 Fowler Street, 116 Peek Street, 232 Leland Avenue, 1203 Beech
Street, and 728 , 731 and 745 Vinton Street; Garage : 1203 Beech
Street) , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as specified in the
specifications, and
WHEREAS, the Contracts and Grants Coordinator has filed said
plans, specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate
of cost, etc . , and the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
having considered the same .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said plans, specifications, form of contract
and preliminary estimate of cost, etc . , be, and the same are
hereby preliminarily approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 2009 .
