RESOLUTION NO. 2009-867
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF GRACE
BAPTIST CHURCH TO REZONE FROM "A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "R-2" ONE AND TWO
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT 3820 HAMMOND AVENUE,
AS SEPTEMBER 28 , 2009, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 28th day of September, 2009,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Grace Baptist Church to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District
to "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District property generally
located at 3820 Hammond Avenue and legally described as follows :
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 3 , Township
88 North, Range 13 , West of the 5th P.M. , in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows : Commencing at the intersection of the East
line of said Section 3 with the North line of the South
20 acres of the East 118 acres of said Southeast
Quarter; thence West 600 feet; thence North 450 feet;
thence East 600 feet; thence South 450 feet to the
point of beginning, excepting all legal highways,
subject to restrictions of record, if any; together
with and subject to easements of record, if any, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
