RESOLUTION NO. 2009-863
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO B & B
BUILDERS AND SUPPLY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
THE 2009 RIVERVIEW RECREATION AREA TRAIL
ENHANCEMENTS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $52, 800 . 00 ,
WITH ADDITIONAL CONCRETE WORK AT A COST NOT
TO EXCEED $23 , 100 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of B & B Builders and Supply of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $52 , 800 . 00, with additional concrete work at a
cost not to exceed $23 , 100 . 00 , for the construction of the 2009
Riverview Recreation Area Trail Enhancements, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 2009 .
