RESOLUTION NO. 2009-943
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH IOWA
GOVERNOR' S TRAFFIC SAFETY BUREAU FOR AN
ALCOHOL INCENTIVE GRANT AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated September 21, 2009, for an Alcohol
Incentive grant in the amount of $28, 350 . 00, with no required
local match, to be used for overtime traffic enforcement,
training-related travel, educational materials, three PBTs and
one in-car video camera, by and between the Iowa Governor' s
Traffic Safety Bureau and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 2009 .
