RESOLUTION NO. 2009-932
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GROUT MUSEUM,
503 SOUTH STREET, FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, Grout Museum, 503 South Street, is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 26, 2009 from 5 : 00
p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with their Brewfest, including a
band playing in the plaza area on the corner of Park Avenue and
Washington Street, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Grout Museum, 503 South Street, has made
formal application for a variance on September 26, 2009 from 5 : 00
p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Grout Museum, 503 South
Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance, on
September 26, 2009 from 5 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. in conjunction
with their Brewfest, including a band playing in the plaza area
on the corner of Park Avenue and Washington Street, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 2009 .
