RESOLUTION NO. 2009-931
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MATT BOYD FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094 .
WHEREAS, Matt Boyd is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 26 and 27, 2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30
p.m. in conjunction with the North End Arts and Music Fest to be
held in the 1600 block of East 4th Street, including a band, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094 , and
WHEREAS, said Matt Boyd has made formal application for a
variance on September 26 and 27, 2009 from 12 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Matt Boyd for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094 , Noise Ordinance, on September 26 and 27, 2009
from 12 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30 p.m. in conjunction with the North End
Arts and Music Fest to be held in the 1600 block of East 4th
Street, including a band, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of September, 2009 .
