RESOLUTION NO. 2009-967
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE GENERAL
OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 167-D-GO-10-05-09 (FORMER US BANK DRIVE UP
TELLER BUILDING AT 315 CEDAR STREET) .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contracts and Grants Coordinator of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc . , for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
Project, Contract No. 167-D-GO-10-05-09 (former US Bank Drive Up
Teller Building at 315 Cedar Street) , in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc . , for
the General Obligation Bond Demolition Project, Contract No. 167-
D-GO-10-05-09 (former US Bank Drive Up Teller Building at 315
Cedar Street) , which were preliminarily approved on September 14 ,
2009, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
September 28 , 2009, and no objections were made .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc . , for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
Project, Contract No. 167-D-GO-10-05-09 (former US Bank Drive Up
Teller Building at 315 Cedar Street) , in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September, 2009 .
