AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22. LIBRARY, BY REPEALING
SECTION 22-9 LIBRARY ACCOUNT: AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF
NEW SECTION 22-9, LIBRARY ACCOUNT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Section 9? -q, Lihrary Account, of Chapter 22, Library, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed
in its entirety that new Section 22-9, Lihrary Account, of Chapter
22, Lihrary, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
Sec. 22-Q. Lihrary Account.
All money aonropriated bv the Council from the general fund for
the operation and maintenance of the library shall be set aside in an
account for the library. Expenditures from the anprooriated funds
shall only he disbursed upon order of the Board, sinned by its
Director, or desinnee. The warrant writing officer is the City
Clerk/Auditor. The Council has no authority to approve or disapprove
expenditures for the library when they are made within the
appropriation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 24th day of February,
1986, and approved by the Mayor this 26th day of February, 19B6.
