RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1014
RESOLUTION APPROVING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT WITH DICK LEWIS AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR PRO TEM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated October 5, 2009, to
purchase three properties generally located in the Highway 63
area, at a cost of $286, 000, plus up to $12, 000 . 00 in closing and
related costs, and legally described as follows :
212 Jefferson Street
Original Plat Waterloo West Lot 3 Block 13 , all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Parcel No. 8913-26-207-013
Original Plat Waterloo West Northeasterly 110 feet Lot
6 Block 13 except that part deeded to State of Iowa
Book 607 Page 684 Northeasterly 110 feet Lot 7 Block 13
Northeasterly 110 feet Northwesterly 50 feet Lot 8
Block 13 except that part to the City of Waterloo as
described in CLD Book 661 Page 853 , all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

Original Plat Waterloo West Southwest 110 feet Lot 6
Block 14 all Lot 7 Block 14 except Northwest 20 feet
Northeast 30 feet Lot 8 Block 14 except that part above
described in CLD Book 635 Page 646, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
by and between Dick Lewis of Waterloo, Iowa, and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
Pro Tem and Deputy City Clerk authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 2009 .
