RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1061
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU AND TREKMAN
RACING TO HOLD 5K AND 10K RACES ON NOVEMBER 7,
2009 .
WHEREAS, Waterloo Convention and Visitors Bureau and Trekman
Racing have requested that they be allowed to hold 5K and 10K
races on November 7, 2009, beginning at 9 : 00 a.m. , with the route
traveling through downtown streets and ending at Soldier' s and
Sailors Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Convention and
Visitors Bureau and Trekman Racing to hold 5K and 10K races on
November 7, 2009, beginning at 9 : 00 a.m. , with the route
traveling through downtown streets and ending at Soldier' s and
Sailors Park, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October, 2009 .
