RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1066
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT 120 ARGYLE STREET TO
DAVE AND ELLEN BECK AS NOVEMBER 9, 2009, AT
5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE DEPUTY
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 9th day of November, 2009, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey city-owned property generally located at 120 Argyle Street
to Dave and Ellen Beck, and legally described as follows :
Morris Case Addition East 37 . 4 feet West 74 . 8 feet Lot
33 except South 6 feet, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $200 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October, 2009 .
