RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1067
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF
APRIL STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY NORTH OF THE
PROPERTY AT 2524 GLORIA DRIVE TO IFET AND
JASMINKA SALIHOVIC AS NOVEMBER 9, 2009, AT
5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE DEPUTY
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 9th day of November, 2009, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell
and convey a portion of April Street right-of-way north of the
property at 2524 Gloria Drive to Ifet and Jasminka Salihovic, and
legally described as follows :
That part of April Street right-of-way as platted in
Jane Addition that lies Southerly of a line that is 60
feet South of and parallel with the South line of Lot 2
Jane Addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, subject to the retention of a utility
easement over, under and upon the described area;
for $253 . 26, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October, 2009 .
