RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1072
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH U. S .
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF COMMUNITY
ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated October 26, 2009, for a COPS Secure Our
Schools grant, in the amount of $159, 700 . 00, to be used to assist
with the development of school safety resources by the Waterloo
School District, by and between the U. S . Department of Justice,
Office of Community Oriented Policing Services and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October, 2009 .
