RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1080
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO TITLE
SERVICES CORPORATION OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR
ABSTRACTING SERVICES FOR HAZARD MITIGATION
GRANT PROGRAM (HMGP) PROPERTY ACQUISITION
PROJECT, IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $50, 000 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Title Services Corporation of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the maximum amount of $50, 000 . 00, for Abstracting
Services for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property
Acquisition Project, described in the Request for Proposal
document, contract, etc . heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for Abstracting
Services for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property
Acquisition Project, described in the Request for Proposal
document, contract, etc . , said contract not to be binding on the
City until approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 2009 .
