RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1091
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH ARMY
CORPS OF ENGINEERS AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated November 2, 2009, for grant in the
amount of $525, 000 . 00, with city match of 15 percent, to be used
for the Dry Run Creek Gatewell Replacement project to provide
additional flood protection, by and between the Army Corps of
Engineers and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 2009 .
