RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1125
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO D.W.
ZINSER CO. , INC. OF WALFORD, IOWA FOR THE
GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 170-D-GO-11-09-09, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $79, 999 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of D.W. Zinser Co. , Inc . of Walford, Iowa, in
the amount of $79, 999 . 00, for the General Obligation Bond
Demolition Project, Contract No. 170-D-GO-11-09-09, described in
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council
for said project, after public hearing on published notice
required by law, be and is hereby accepted.
The Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for the construction of
said improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City
until approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 2009 .
