ORDINANCE NO. 3434
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING. THE CNE OF ORDINANCES, CITY
OF wATERLOO, IOWA, CHAPTER 9, BUILDINGS, RY ADOPTING
PY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM PUI1DINC COPE, 1915 EDITION,
AS PUBLISHED IN 19B5 FY THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
OF RUILDINC OFFICIALS, WHICH REGULATES THE. CONSTRUC-
TION, REPAIR AND USE GENERALLY OF ALL. BUILDINGS AND/
OR STRUCTURES It THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
PROVIDINC FOP THE ISSUANCE T PERITS AND COLLECTION
OF FEES THEREFORE. AND THE REPEALINC OF ANY AND ALL
ORDINANCES. AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN. CONFLICT
THEREWITH.
BF. IT ORDAINED R.,Y. tne City Council of the City of Water1cv Jowa:
Section I.
That Sections 9-1 and 2-z' of Thapter 0, Article J, Jr
General, of the CDIP of Ordinances, City of Waterloo, Iow.3, are hereby
repealed.
Section/.
That Chapter 9. %ildinos, Article I, is hPreby amended sy enactino
new Section 9-1 as follows:
Sec. 9-1. Pul 1 rj ry 'ode Adopted.
That a certain document, copies of which are on file and
available in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa- heirs marked and desinnated as "llniform
Ruildinp Code, l(rc Edition, published in 19P by the Inter-
national Conference of ?,uilding nfficials", be and the Samr,
is hry adopted as the 6uildinn Code of tne Cit'! of
Waterloo, IOWA, for reoulatinn the erection, construction,
nlargement, alteration, repair, movinn, removal, dereli-
tion, conversion, occunancy, equipment. use, heioht, area
and maintenance of all buildinns and/or structures in the
City of aterloo, Iowa: providing for the issuance of
nermits and collection,ef Foos therefore- Providing
nenalti-s for th‘-' 001AtiM1 of such roof,- and each and all
of the roulations, 2rovisions, Penalties, conditions, and
terms of such "Hniform !itildinn Code, TLIF,E, Fdition,
published in 1T,5 bv the International Conference of
quildino nfficials," on filo in the office of the. City clerk
are hereby referred to, adout,d and made a Dart thereof as

That t proviOons of new Section 9-2, Amendments to 1uildinn Code,
contain the several aP7endments to the above adopted "Uniform Ruildinn
rode, 1.1q5 Edition, published in 1995 by the International Conference
of 9uildinn nfficials" in force in the City of Yaterloo, as Follows!
Sec, P-2. Amendments to Buildinc Code.
Table No. 1-A - wilding Pertnit Fee - as contained in the
said Uniform >ui1dlrw Coe, lf-m5. Edition, is hereby deleted
and in lieu thereof the following Table B -A
Permit FPOS - is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as new

(9) Chapter 1 of the Uniforl Buildino Code, 19P5 Edition,
