AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE 3V REPEALING SUBSECTIONS
(67), (68) AND (69) LOGAN AVENUE ALSO KNOWN AS U.S. HIGHAY 63
NORTH OF SECTION 541. INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS7
AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (57) AND (68) LOGAN
AVENUE ALSO KNOWN AS U.S. HIGHWAY 63 NORTH TO SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIvITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (57), (58) and (59) Logan Avenue also known as U.S.
Highway 63 North of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain
Areas of the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby
repealed in their entirety that new Subsections (67) and (59) Logan
Avenue also known as U.S. Highway 63 North of Section 541, Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas of the Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(67) Logan Avenue also known as U.S. Highway 63 North - from Parker
Street to 500 feet north of Airline Road 35 mnh
(59) Logan Avenue also known as U.S. Highway 63 North - from 500 feet
north of Airline Road to northerly corporate limits 45 mph
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 2nd day of June, 1996,
and approved by the mayor this 4th day of June, 1996.
