RESOLUTION NO. 2019-655
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM IZET KAJTEZOVIC ON
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2019 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 4:00
P.M., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CHESTNUT FESTIVAL
TO BE HELD AT BYRNES PARK.
WHEREAS, Izet Kajtezovic has requested a Variance to the Noise Ordinance on
Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Chestnut Festival
to be held at Byrnes Park, along with live music and the use of a P.A. system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Izet Kajtezovic for a Variance to the Noise Ordinance
on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the Chestnut Festival to be held at
Byrnes Park, along with live music and the use of a P.A. system, together with the
recommendation of the Police Department, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September 2019.
