RESOLUTION NO. 2019-658
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE
GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF DRUG CONTROL POLICY,
METHAMPHETAMINE DRUG HOT SPOTS PROGRAM, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $22,000 WITH NO MATCHING FUNDS
REQUIRED, TO PROVIDE OVERTIME FUNDS TO ASSIST IN
MID AND HIGH LEVEL METHAMPHETAMINE
INVESTIGATIONS, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Methamphetamine Drug Hot Spots Grant, from the Governor's Office of Drug Control
Policy, in the amount of$22,000, with no matching funds required by the City of Waterloo, to
assist in mid and high level methamphetamine investigations, is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and Chief of Police are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September 2019.
