AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY REPEALING SUBSECTION
(1) COMMERCIAL STREET OF SECTION 542, ONE-WAY STREETS AND
ALLEYS: AND RY REPEALING SUBSECTION (49) COMMERCIAL STREET OF
SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS
AND ENACTING IN. LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (49) COMMERCIAL
STREET OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON
CERTAIN STREETS; AND BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (1) COMMERCIAL
STREET OF SECTION 562A, TWO HOUR PARKING: AND BY ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (1) COMMERCIAL STREET OF SECTION
562A, TWO HOUR PARKING.
BF IT ORDAINED BY THE City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection- (1) Commercial Street of Section 942, One -Way
Streets and Alleys of the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
is hereby repealed in its entirety.
That Subsection (49) Commercial Street of Section 591, Parking
Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the Traffic Code of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that
new Subsection (49) Commercial Street of Section 551, Parking
Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the Traffic Code of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows:
SEC. 551. PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS.
(49) Commercial Street Both sides from LaPorte Road to
West 18th; both sides from West 12th
Street to West 11th Street southwest
side from West 11th Street to West 7th
Street: both sides in the 700 block and
northwest side from West Prid to
Westfield Avenue.
That Subsection (1) Commercial Street of Section 552A, Two Hour
Parking, of the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
repealed in its entirety that new Subsection (1) Commercial Street
of Section 562A, Two Hour Parking, of the Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows
SEC. 562A. TWO HOUR PARKING.
(1) Commercial Street Roth sides from West 18th Street to
West 12th Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 7th day of July, 1986,
and approved- by the Mayor this 9th day of July, 1986.
