RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM CALVARY CHRISTIAN
CENTER FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2019 FROM
10:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 4TH
ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN THE CHURCH
PARKING LOT LOCATED AT 3929 RICHLAND DRIVE,
INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC AND THE USE OF A P.A.
SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Calvary Christian Center is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in conjunction with the 4th annual Fall
Festival to be held in the church parking lot located at 3929 Richland Drive, including live music
and the use of a P.A. system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Calvary Christian Center for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on September 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in
conjunction with the 4th annual Fall Festival, to be held in the church parking lot located at 3929
Richland Drive, including live music and the use of a P.A. system, be hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of September 2019.
